This scent reminds me of walking down the red market at the Grammy awards full of confidence. I feel so much more powerful when wearing Santal Dan Sha by Armani / Prive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really picky about scent, and I don't usually find one that I love, but I love this Prive Santal Dansha - it's so different and woodsy and mysterious! My girlfriend loves it too, and she's a huge patchouli fan. It feels like I'm wearing a cloak of magic, and I swear people instantly respond positively to me when I wear this. Think of how good it feels to be in a forest on a warm day with all the sounds and feelings that surround you and make you feel alive. THAT is what this smells like! I will never use anything else, and I wish I could have candles and detergent made in this scent and my house would feel magical!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prive Santal Dansha has a very peculiar scent that is very overwhelming. I honestly did not enjoy the scent whatsoever. It's definitely more appropriate for the cooler months opposed to the warmer months. To be honest, after spraying this product on my wrist, I gagged a little bit. It's definitely musky & very heavy. It only takes one squirt of this and others can definitely smell it on you. A friend tried it as well and simply did not enjoy the scent, either. It has several different scents/notes in it but such a different scent than any other.

I wouldn't wear this daily, this is more of a dinner or sexy night out type of product for special occasions. As a woman, I usually prefer more fruity notes in my perfumes, so this was a bit out of my comfort zone, and I would say it resonates more of a male cologne to me. But having said that, it is a unisex fragrance that I can definitely pull off and the sandalwood and bergamot notes give me that bold confidence when I wear it. I definitely recommend you try it out! It's not as youthful or sweet as Armani's My Way, but the floral notes are still distinctly feminine. The warm creamy notes make me feel this is a strictly evening perfume - something to splash on after work for a night out or a special occasion. Very romantic. I also love how Armani kept the classy knob that the My Way perfumes also have. It looks like a semi-precious stone. The polish is so pretty. The only reason why I can't give it a 5 is because I place Armani's My Way on such a tall pedestal. Overall, highly recommended.

Until now I had never seen a perfume with that type of quality. I tend to be picky and go for more subtle fragrances for myself and I think the woodsy character of this perfume is a little strong. For me, while this perfume is versatile and not obnoxious at all, I personally would still go for something more subtle than this for myself. On another note, I loved the packaging and the magnetic-closing box. Beautiful perfume, would make an excellent gift, just a little too strong for me personally!
