The shade N44 is a stunning, nuanced colour that strikes a beautiful balance between bold and wearable. The texture is creamy and smooth, making application a dream. My lips feel hydrated and comfortable throughout the day, thanks to the moisturizing formula that doesn't sacrifice longevity for comfort. Even after hours of wear, the colour remains vibrant and my lips feel just as pampered as when I first applied it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought straight out of the box was: this feels high-end. The packaging is simply beautiful, you can feel this is a quality product. The case is sturdy and has a nice YSL logo and the lipstick itself is also engraved. It's not advertised on the package but I found out that: once you finished the lipstick or if you want to switch between different shades, you can purchase a refill from the same range and replace the lipstick shade by winding down and pulling out the old one and putting in the refill. The lipstick has that the nice, sweet fragrance typical to ysl makeup. Its texture is creamy, and unlike other lipsticks this didn't feel like drying the lips. I have fair skin tone with pinkish lips so for me the lipstick shade is subtle on the lips and on the pinkish side of the spectrum, like a tickle me pink. It just a little shiny, more on the matte side for me that you can wear day-to-day.

I choose colour N5 which is a lovely nude that glided on and feels so comfortable on my lips. My couture lipstick has a lovely satin finish which is perfect and lasts.

I love this shade as it’s perfect for daily use and looks absolutely natural. The formula is lightweight, very hydrating and long lasting. If you are after a nude shade that is hydrating and compliments SkinTone, than this is the one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I so love this shade of nu muse. The lipstick is not dry for lips. This seems to be like moisturising the lups as well. Though this is not matte or smudge proof, I still love the quality of this lipstick! I so love the case as well as it looks very elegant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nude, pink and red lipsticks are an absolute must have in everyone’s makeup pouch and YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick N5 is a warm nude-ish pink coloured lipstick that matches my natural lips perfectly. The texture is soft and silky with a highly hydrating formula that glides smoothly with an even application. Since it’s such a classic neutral tone, it’s great to wear every day. To spice it up I applied on top a thin layer of lipgloss (clear or with shimmer) and oh my it looked amazing! I really like the case too, it feels firm in my hand and it’s so elegant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favourite lipstick! The colour is a brightening, teeth whitening pink. It’s flattering against my pale skin and a shade I will get lots of use out of. Formula wise it’s creamy and hydrating. It’s lightweight on the lips and has a great colour payoff. I’ve had YSL classic lipsticks before and I can certainly tell there’s been a formula improvement, now they are smoother and I can really tell there’s a caring base to the ingredients, I usually struggle with dry flaky lips but this felt like a balm. Packaging is luxury and weighted, I love all YSL lip products, they always feel so classy to pull out my handbag.
