[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the original Black Opium and I've been a big fan of the DNA for years. I'm so happy I got the chance to try out this fragrance. This is definitely a more fruity take on Black Opium. I get a cherry pie filling with a mix of the original DNA with this one. It's not too sweet and has a sweet syrup smell that is long lasting. If you have smelled Tom Ford Lost cherry, I would say this is the more playful and sweeter cherry scent. I get about 6 hours on the skin and 1+ day on clothes with about 8-10 sprays. If you like the original Black Opium Def try this one out. Can't wait for the weather to get hot. I think this will smell even richer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume really took me by surprise, I’m not usually a fan of sweet scents but recently I’ve been trying to branch out and this was a great start. The packaging is beautiful and the nozzle gives a good spray. The scent lasted all day, melted into my skin and clothes in such a nice way, and I got quite a few compliments throughout the night. The main notes are cherry, coffee, and vanilla, so it’s sort of spicy and warm. I would recommend this perfume for those who like a warmer or sweeter scent but implore everyone to at least test it! I will definitely be adding this to my winter perfume.

It’s a good perfume but nothing over the top but for some reason people seem to love it especially men. I wore it to school and I could still smell it by the end of the day it’s super long lasting, the smell gets faint after 4-5 hours but I could still smell it on my skin throughout the day. It’s a gourmand fragrance,it has notes of vanilla, cherry coffee, white floral and other notes are used too but the notes I mentioned are the most prominent in the perfume . The cherry note adds a fresh and clean smell to the perfume. This perfume has femme fatale vibes

Strong tones of cherry, vanilla and coffee. Leaving a beautiful sweet, warm and sexy scent on the skin. I received quite a few compliments when I wore this perfume out. The bottle is a heavy glass, elevating its presentation. Yves Saint Laurent did not disappoint with this new addition to their fragrances. If you are looking for something new to spice up your perfume library. Take this one home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from influenster to try out. The Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum Over Red has a very sweet scent. It is musky. It has the sweet floral scents at the beginning and when it dries there’s a hint of citrus. If you are not a fan of musky scents, this may not be for you. I sprayed this scent on myself and to me it lasted a few hours. By the end of the night it was very faint. It’s a nice scent if you like sweet scents. The bottle itself is an okay size. The bottle is glass and it is sleek. It fits in the palm of your hand and it fits conveniently in a small purse if you’d like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first full size Black Opium fragrance. I’ve had several samples to try the original and I love it! This fragrance is the Eau de Parfum Over Red by YSL. It features an added cherry note that is bright in the opening but turns dark in the dry down. Once the fragrance has dried down, it turns into the original Black Opium scent with just a hint of dark cherry. It’s very sexy and a compliment getter, but it reminds me of the original so much that you might as well get it instead of this. Longevity: 5/6 hours Sillage: people will smell you when they walk by but it’s not beast scent bubble
