A bluish dark oud musk.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] YSL Y Elixir fragrance is a strong oud forward scent with a dark bluish atmosphere. Definitely a good evening/night-time fragrance; I don't see this being a good Summer scent, though. It's much too bold and exotic to ever be Summer-esque. The bottle is weighty, heavy and strong. The design is also beautiful, with a Y stretched around the square glass. The fragrance lasts all day. What I've come to notice about most of YSL fragrances, is that whatever you spritz it on, will forever be scented as THAT specific fragrance. This is no exception. My brother sprayed some on his jacket a few weeks ago and the jacket still smells of this scent, even after several washes. So, that's good to know if you happen to love a YSL scent but not good, if you don't. My brother happens to adore this scent, so it's definitely a bonus for him. All in all, a nice manly scent that smells unlike traditional 'male' scents on the market.

Very interesting men’s perfume

The best smell ever!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided YSL Y Elixir for my honest review by @influenster and @YSL I personally love the scent and my fiance and son fight over who was going to get to use this product they loved the scent stating it lasts a long time and doesn't wear off like others the woodsy smell along with lavender and geranium are great pairs. It's definitely a light woodsy smell and not overpowering. It's everyday use but smells expensive 😊 The price point is high but compares with others of ita caliber of a product. The 2 males in my life will continue to use this product for sure. #smells great #elixir #scents #men'scologne #sexy #luxury #couture

New popular attention grabber
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are familiar with YSL, this stays in line with the Y lines DNA. A fresh fragrance and what I notice most is the lavender accord, along with a hint of spicy incense. I can see this being a versatile non offensive popular compliment getter. The projection isn't extreme longevity I'd give it 6 to 7 hours. The price is the only thing docks it I might would want it to be stronger and last longer for that price point. Can be blind buy worthy if money isn't an issue but I'd say smell it first especially if you have other Y fragrances because it possibly might not be too far off from something you already own from the line.

The scent of a real man

The scent is rich, seductive, and simultaneously elegant. It combines woody, spicy, and citrus notes to create a deep aroma. The fragrance is very long-lasting. It stays all day and unfolds beautifully, leaving very fresh and pleasant notes in the end. The scent lingers on clothes for a long time, even until the next wash. The packaging is a stylish dark blue bottle that shimmers beautifully in the light. It is easy to hold, easy to open, and easy to spray. The mist is fine and powerful. Overall, the impression was extremely positive, and my husband was very pleased with such a gift. Thank you so much to Influenster and YSL for the opportunity to test such a wonderful fragrance.

Potent version of YSL Y parfum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most people have mentioned that you cannot detect the oud in this. I’m here to say they are incorrect because I can definitely smell the oud as well as fruity notes. This scent lasts for several hours, especially in an indoor setting. I sprayed this on in the night and can still smell it on me the next day! It still maintains the YSL Y dna but more stronger! This is exactly what an elixir should be. It’s better to wear than Dior Sauvage elixir because most girls don’t find that attractive and it’s way to mainstream like One Million. Be different, stand out from the crowd and wear YSL Y L’Elixir.

Not your average cologne
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cologne is one of my favorites that i have. The scent last throughout the day and even by the next day i can get a subtle hint of the cologne. The mixture of woody and lavender scent go well together. I use it for sunday morning church mainly because i dont want to waate it but can be used for any occassion. Once i run out i will be looking to get another bottle.
