RICH AND SMOOTH
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your looking for a lipstick thats smooth and rich, you definitely should pick up the slim velvet radical matte lipstick. I recieved this lovely product in color 307 courtesy of #bzzagent and it's nothing short of perfect. This is no ordinary lipstick. It glides like butter; It's so smooth, but it's also moisturizing and pigmented. Also, the wearability of this product is unmatched. So, it goes without saying that many other lipsticks pale in comparison to this one. This is a summer must have but it's dynamic and will definitely be a staple product during drier months. Therefore, although this was a sponsored product, I would buy it myself in another variety and I'd also recommend that others go and make a purchase.#tredr #sponsored

Amazing Formula and Lipstick Shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love YSL lip products and this new line of the YSL The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick exceeds my expectations. The packaging is very luxurious, sleek, and beautiful with the contrast of the matte black lid versus the shiny black base and the beautiful YSL emblem. The lipstick has a nice weight to it and the actual shape of the lipstick bullet is a diamond shape, which allows for you to carefully outline the lips using the sides of the bullet and also line the cupids bow using the top point of the bullet. I would say that the lipstick is heavily fragranced with the typical YSL scent - this does not bother me whatsoever but I can see how the fragrance may be unappealing to some consumers. The shade that I received is 302 Brown No Way Back. This particular shade name was quite strange to me the first time I read it and was a bit scared that it had the word "Brown" in the name. Upon opening and trying on the lipstick, it is a brown-based red that has enough of the red pigment to brighten up my face and is so flattering on my skin tone. I feel this is a very wearable red because it is not an orange-red or blue-based red that may be too bold for every day. The lipstick glides smoothly and nicely across my lips without clinging to dry patches. It is hydrating, yet has a more soft matte finish. The pigment in the lipstick is amazing and I get full impact color with one swipe. The performance is not like a "liquid lipstick", but the color and finish does last at least 5-6 hours on me without needing to touch up. I highly, highly recommend this product to all my friends and family and am really looking forward to trying out more shades from the YSL The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick line.

Love everything except the fragrance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received color 304 beige instinct, a rosy/pink nude shade that is great for any occasion! The formula is hydrating matte. The texture is very smooth, pigmented and glides easily. The lasting power is average. It doesn't fade much when drinking water /eating snack but you definitely need a touch up after a meal.

Beautiful lipstick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick's design is compact, sophisticated and the color is gorgeous. The shape of the lipstick is so unique. This is my first time trying a lipstick that doesn't come in a traditional round tube. The lipstick itself has a faint scent and glides on very smoothly. The color payoff is beautiful and long lasting through out the day with multiple times of eating and drinking. It didn't dry my lips out at all. I love how slim it is. It takes so little room in my makeup and is so easy to take with me on the go if I only bring a small clutch. I would highly recommend this product.

Perfect stay put lipstick

It glides on my lips effortlessly and flawless! with most lipstick shapes I have to fill in missed spots put this is perfect every time ! I've only had to reapply after eating other than that it stays on and stays vibrant, no smearing or smudging! It's truly amazing and I plan to get several more shades! The lipstick itself is very soft and delicate which seems like it can easily be squished or broken off. I'm not sure if it was damaged during shipment, but my lipstick came squished and loose. feel like I have to handle this lipstick carefully. it glides on smooth and buttery. velvet seems to be a fitting name, feels like that when you blot your lips together. it's highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. it does feel dry on my lips though, but as matte lipsticks go, it's not super drying. prime your lips and it should be fine. love the color for a fall look.

Pleasant surprise!

I tried many different brands for matte lipsticks, but I just don’t like the dry feeling, the extreme necessity to exfoliate often and so on. But this lipstick feels really good and it is so comfortable! It is not dry! This one was a pleasant surprise! I wanna try more colors!
