I'm a major fan of ysl fragrances but the batch I received last week was basically like water I've purchased this exact cologne in the past it had way more depth

Dirty bottle and wrong name. Disaster
I paid extra to have it personalized. It came dirty and with the wrong name on it. It went from “JRB” to “Mrs Lansat. Great way to ruin my husbands bday gift

A classic, versatile, staple!
I've recently started using more designer colognes and a friend recommended this to me. I love the scent, a fantastic mix of citrus and ginger that's not too intense and overbearing. The initial spray is pleasant, and the dry down settles very nicely and lasts a good 4-6 hours (~5 sprays). It's versatile and I find it appropriate for a variety of settings (social gatherings, office, etc) and can be worn at different times of the day. It doesn't project very far, but that's okay for me since I'd rather be on the subtle side. Also, it is a HUGE compliment getter from both men and women. Highly recommended, and will always keep some on hand.

Outstanding Men's Fragrance!
L'Homme is THE best men's fragrance I have ever used! In fact, before I began using L'Homme, I did not regularly were cologne. It has a very masculine aroma that lasts the whole day. It's very fresh and clean while being subtly sexy and intriguing. Whenever I wear L'Homme, which is every time I leave the house, I am sure to receive a compliment on my fragrance from women as well as men. It's difficult to describe a fragrance but again, masculine and intriguing are the best words I can think of to give you a sense of the fragrance - other than the wonderful job YSL has already done above. Try it for the man in your life, I doubt either of you will be disappointed.

When luxury brands make cheap cologne
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking very forward to this cologne. I was very inspired to purchase this based on the scent notes and other reviews on the site. It smells great. When I spray it on I get instant compliments by my family. The biggest flaw with this is the smell goes away after 45 mins. This definitely needs to be more concentrated. I own a ton of colognes from large brands(around 50 unique ones) This is the shortest lasting one hands down. I expected more from YSL. This cologne quality is that of Nautica or something…

Great smell, disappointing customer experience
I adore this scent so I bought it for my fiancé. He loves it and it smells incredible on him. The longevity of the fragrance and the way it evolves as it melds with the wearer are both impressive. I did select for the bottle to be engraved, since this was a gift for our wedding, and the bottle arrived without the engraving, so that was a huge disappointment. I'm not sure if it was an error with the website on mobile or what, but it dampened the whole experience. The packaging and gift wrapping option is lovely and he still loved the gift, I just won't bother with asking for it to be engraved in the future.

Husband gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] He loves it especially because I love it too. It has masculine scent. I love it when my husband wears it. Its smells sexy to me. He likes to wear it when I want him to, but its not his go to he has other perfume as well. It has an earthy, woodsy scent.Longevity is okay, it’s the great perfume especially because I love it when he wears it so he wears it all the time when we’re in our alone time.
