[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my new favorite perfumes is Black Opium Eau de Parfum Extreme. The box and bottle it comes in are both a sparkly black with rose gold lettering. I love the design of the bottle! It is easy to hold and the cap comes off easily. This bottle is the 1.0 oz / 30 mL and there is also a 1.6 oz / 50 mL bottle that is available to purchase. This perfume has notes of coffee, vanilla bourbon, and jasmine. It smells amazing!!! When I first applied it, I could smell the coffee with some vanilla. A little while later I smelled more vanilla and jasmine. The scent lasts a long time and is perfect for date night. Apparently there was another classic Black Opium that came out first and many of my beauty friends here who have tried both like this one much more! This Black Opium takes seduction to the extreme.

It smells very similar to the that one , but just more intense. To me it's a bit bolder and sexier. You can really smell the scent of coffee and it has a light sweetness from the vanilla bourbon. Once it dries down I can smell a hint of floral scent from the jasmine. These notes combined make for a heavenly fragrance. It definitely lasts longer than the original too. I've worn it and it's lasted almost all day long. It's perfect to wear on a special date or even a night out on the town with your girls. Everyone will stop in their tracks when they smell you , and your sure to receive tons of compliments. Anytime I wear this perfume I'm told how amazing I smell, and it feels great. I love to pair this fragrance with an amber scented lotion which really makes this scent pop. This perfume came just in time for the fall/winter seasons. And of course I can't forget the packaging. The black, sparkling bottle is STUNNING and goes perfect on my black vanity. This fragrance screams feminine, sexy, and beautiful!! This one is a must have in my collection.

Before I use classic Black Opium which the scent was good but different from this new one. In this new one I feel the jasmine and bourbon added and made the scent fabulous. According its description this perfume introduces the edgy and daring woman. I really liked it and the scent lasts all day even I can feel this in my clothes after three days. When I used this I received many compliments from my friends which was given me a good feeling. I would definitely buy the big bottle of this and I recommended this to my friends.

BLACK OPIUM EXTREME was a hail Mary of a childhood favorite. I am absolutely in love with this scent. It's almost woody and earthy. It does seem to have somewhat of a floral not but to me it's the creamy amber that is my favorite. It's like being wrapped in a warm blanket in front of a fire. I love it! In fact I got a bottle for my friend too and she agreed. Thereay be what smells as a hint of cinnamon as well. Definitely recommend top 10 of the YSL product line. Fabulous fails to describe it in its entirety. Run don't walk to try it for yourself. A quality scent from a quality company know for pleasing customers.

It lives up to its house name and the best fragrance I've tried. There are so many great things about this product. Its just so intoxicating and at the same time is calming. I particularly love the sweet coffee notes. This fragrance is an instant mood uplifter and makes me feel wonderful and appreciated.
