Miracle Complexion Sponge Duo Makeup Sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to see the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge, four pack for light to medium coverage show up on Influenster. I liked the fact that they had a flat and pointed side to them. That made it easier to get my entire face, including under the eyes. They felt pretty good, maybe a bit rubbery. They increased in size nicely and didn’t soak up the product as much as sponges I have had in the past. I like light coverage and normally do tinted moisturizer or BB creams. These blended the make up well. They were a bit hard to clean, so I’ll try a different cleaner than just regular bar soap next time. They seemed like a good value for the price as well.

The flat side is super helpful for application, and I love the point as well for areas like the under eye. The density is really nice; it seems to pick up and blend product well without just absorbing and wasting product. It also absorbs the perfect amount of water to be just damp enough for blending. Much better than cheaper blending sponges I have tried!

I absolutely loved it. It blended my foundation very nicely. I love that after I used it I was able to was it. It dried very nicely. I highly recommend this blending sponge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good ol’ reliable blender. I use a tinted serum but first I put a milky toner in my hand then put the sponge into the toner to soak up. Then I dab into the serum and then face. The sponge did a great job of helping me get my serum applied evenly which has gotten more challenging with age.

The texture is super soft but still dense enough to blend foundation and concealer flawlessly. I always use them damp, and they give my skin such a smooth, even finish without soaking up too much product. I love the flat edge for pressing in product around my nose and eyes, and the pointed tip is perfect for spot concealing. They hold up really well with regular washing, and I like that they come in a duo so I can rotate between them. Definitely one of the best beauty buys I’ve tried!

They do help me when applying tinted moisturizer and blush. It absorbs some of the product, but it applies a thinner layer on my skin. This has helped me to stop tinted moisturizer from settling into fine lines. You do need to wash it once a week and my only complaint is that they last only a month, according to the packaging.
