Artist Essentials Makeup Brush Kit Brush Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These brushes are lovely. They are pretty, the bristles are very soft and they are comfortable to use. They apply and blend makeup very well. Each brush is versatile and can be used in different ways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome set of quality brushes. The RT217 is great for my cream contour products because it is such a precise application. The RT420 is fabulous for applying my powder highlighters and I love that it does not create a streak of product on my cheekbones, it applies evenly and aids me in achieving a lovely glow. The RT421 was great for blending my under eye concealer evenly and without streaks. The brushes wash well and have not shed. This is fabulous set for beginners and expert makeup lovers.

The RT420 Spotlight Fan Brush is the most amazing brush I've ever used to apply bronzer!! I was soooo impressed and the application was so precise!! The RT421 Soft Accent brush is perfection for applying just the right amount of blush and exactly where I want it! I literally had so much fun playing with these brushes and can't imagine how I did without them!! I highly recommend running out and purchasing these!! The quality and the price point make these such a good value!!! **Note: I was so excited to try these brushes I forgot to take a photo before I used them so my photo of the brushes does have the color of each of the products I used on them. They do look clean and pretty right out of the package!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall quite pleased with the Artist Essentials Brush Set. The Expert Edge Foundation Brush has become a new favorite for buffing and blending both my tinted SPF and my concealer, and the Soft Accent brush is excellent for both concealer and application of highlighter (powder, liquid, or cream). I do wish, however, that the Spotlight Fan brush was denser, as I find it to be too thin and floppy to do anything besides brush away loose powder - I'll never use this. I'd love to see a redone version of this set with a larger version of the Soft Accent brush, as a larger version would be phenomenal for contour or blush application. The Lip Smudge brush does its job well (although I'm not a fan of the blurred lip look and find myself using this brush for my eyes instead), and the Smudge Liner brush is nowhere near as thin as advertised, but works pretty well at creating a smudged liner look and also for using concealer under the brows to "clean" them up (although I found that after washing the brush, the bristles splayed a bit, and now it's uneven - but maybe that's my fault, or my brush was defective). Still, though, this kit is worth it for the first two brushes described, and I do appreciate the versatility of the Lip Smudge brush for both eyes and lips!

I much prefer applying foundation with a sponge so I won't be a good person to judge their foundation brush but I did try it out. But I liked how the rest of the brushes in this set worked. I appreciate the density of the Spotlight Fan brush and it was nice having the Soft Accent brush to apply my cream blush with. Plus, the Lip Smudge brush made applying my lipstick so easy and effortless! I don't typically wear liquid or cream eyeliner so I can't speak to that brush.

Cruelty free synthetic is a huge plus and you can use any of these brushes with we or dry makeup. And they won't shed all over your face while you are applying your makeup. The lip smudge brush is different than most lip brushes and is the best for blending liners and liquid lipsticks to create a seamless lip line. If you really want to pick up your makeup game, then grab an Everyday Eye Essentials set with these brushes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these brushes for my everyday face and they worked well. I didn’t use the brushes exactly for what was indicated for example I used the smudge brush to highlight my brow bone. I loved how well they blended. Would definitely recommend them.
