Great Application Horrible Colors
I purchased 3 of these and absolutely loved how they applied and how amazing my lips felt. BUT every color no matter the shade was either brown or orange. The Rosewood which looks pinkish mauve was straight brown in the package and even more brown on my lips. Horrible colors on me. Very disappointed especially after the amount of money spent wanting pinks and purples and ending up with oranges and browns.

Not long wearing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I applied this I used the applicator and way too much got applied and it was all over my lips and just a big mess. The second time I used to lip brush and applied it in a thin layer. The colour looks nice and it felt nice and wasn’t drying. Although it didn’t transfer onto my glass, it did not last through dinner. It would be fine if you’re okay with reapplying it after you eat but for a long were lipstick I would expect it to last a little longer then it did.

Beautiful colors + multi use!!!
I purchased the timeless burgundy shade on a whim a couple months ago and oh my god. It’s my new favorite lipstick shade and I HATE wearing traditional lipstick. I absolutely love that I can use it on my cheeks too so my look is cohesive :) I was very upset to hear the rumors that these colors are going to be discontinued. I hope they bring back this shade and the other red shades (like chili for life!!)!

Did not live up to expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the color Chili. It isn't very orange or red. The applicator is big and holds onto too much product. It was hard to get a nice line because there was so much paint on the end. The finish was a very dry matte. Why this look is a thing, I have no idea. It makes my lips look like parched earth, like they were about to crumble into dust at any moment. You can see every line. From a distance it looks ok providing you were super careful where you placed the liquid. It says it is transfer proof but i had lip marks on my soda can. The bottom picture is my lips about five hours later. Definitely not the 24 hrs they advertise. Do not recommend.

Sorry, noooo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received  MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist For Ever Matte 24HR Longwear Liquid Lipstick in the shade 240, free of charge from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion and, unfortunately, I do not like it. At all. It did not live up to any of the claims listed on the box, especially the "24 Hours" claim. Maybe if you're a cadaver it would. It wore off almost immediately, but not before settling into the lines in my lips, and gathering in the corners of my mouth and looking gross and dry. It may work for some, but I would never buy this. I am glad I had the opportunity to try it, though. I would still be willing to give other MUFE products a try.

Makeup Fover Liquid Lip
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the brand and most all of their products. I have all the metallic matte lipsticks. I love them. The packaging is next level and the shape of the vessel is rocket-like. Cool! I’m lukewarm on the liquid lip. I don’t like liquid lippies in general and this wears the same as others. Very liquidy, dries down, wears well, no transfer. Not sure how I feel about the wand. Wide, square doe foot, and applicator is covered in gucky liquid lip. How can brands stop this?! I hate it. Nothing new or original about this product. I’m here for a liquid lip that doesn’t dry down as I hate the feel and dryness. I have to slather gloss on top just for some comfort.

HOURS OF COVERAGE!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy moly you guys, pretty sure this lipstick will become a part of my daily wear. It's smooth like butter at first and then stains the lips. You have about 30 seconds to blot, but not much longer. I got the 320 "goti all the time" which looks like a lighter shade of orange/red, it's depth is a shock when you put it on so I blotted. It doesn't need to be continuously reapplied and for me it lasted about 2-3 hours even while drinking coffee. It also has a floral scent which I grew to like, normally I don't like scented lip stain; however, this scent was subtle. I've always been a fan or Makeup Forever and will definitely buy again.

Rouge Artist For Ever
From a long time MUF customer..please bring back the Rouge Artist Matte lip line. This line only has only 1 pink shade, too liquid, too messy to apply, color oxidized to orange, and didn't last through dinner. I have used up all of my old Rouge Artist Matte 204, 205 and 206, and I even tried Poised Rosewood from the other formula and it is too light in comparison to the shade on the box, and it has zero staying power. First it was the eye shadows that changed, and now the lip line formulas have been replaced. After 15 years, I am Back to searching for the next great makeup brand with true pigments and outstanding performance.
