Aqua Smoky Extravagant Mascara from Make Up For Ever intensifies the eyes with a dramatic impact that attracts attention from afar and shows precise and defined lashes up close. This waterproof mascara provides instantaneous results with a long-lasting hold. Its "ergo-conic" brush allows for ultra-precise, intuitive application. It's generously coated with just the right amount of mascara, the brush’s soft fibers lift each lash individually. The clump-free texture glides on easily, wrapping and coating the lashes for spectacular volume and length. 


BENEFITS

  • Lashes fan out, dramatic and defined, from root to tip.
  • Precision 4D Technology envelopes the lash surface in ultra-black pigments for far-away impact and up-close perfection.

  1. Wipe off excess product at the tip of the brush with a tissue or on the edge of the neck of the tube.
  2. To optimize the volume of the lashes and the intensity of the eyes, apply the mascara to the top side and the bottom side of the lashes.
  3. Use the width of the brush to apply the mascara from the root to the tip of the lashes, and use the fine tip of the brush for the hard-to-reach areas (short lashes, inner and outer corners, etc.).
  4. Apply the mascara in a back-and-forth, left-to-right motion to optimize the volume effect.
  5. To remove the product, use a special waterproof eye makeup remover (Sens’Eyes).

Bring back the original!
The original non waterproof smoky extravagant was my go to for many many years. I do not like waterproof mascaras as they are more clumpy and often are not really waterproof. This aqua version is much more clumpy and doesn't come close to the original non waterproof version. I have been forced to TRY and find a mascara I like as much as the original and have yet to find one. There are so many of us that want this back. Please listen and consider a relaunch of the original.

Bring back Aqua Smoky Lash
PLEASE bring back Aqua Smoky Lash! I wanted to love this, and even after reading all the terrible reviews, I still made the purchase. This waterproof mascara, from the brush to the pigmentation, is not good. I’ve been using Aqua Smoky Lash for years, my go-to fav, with no issues. The tapered brush provides messy application. I’ve been using mascara for over 20 years and have never had such issues with application, having to remove excess mascara from my upper and lower eyelids several times, even with careful application and using the smaller end of the brush. I don’t understand the thick side of the brush, aside from product waste. With multiple coats, it still lacks the blackest black pigmentation I got from the previous version with two coats. This is a let down - please bring back my fav, Makeup Forever!

I’m sorry to say - current formula is a miss :(
I am a loyal MUFE fan and have been using the brand in my pro kit for 14 years. I recommend it to everyone I know and will continue to. So I’m so sorry to say this is the first MUFE product in its current formulation which has ever disappointed me. It says a lot about what a great brand MUFE is that this formula is the first time I’ve ever been surprised. But —many things go into making these products and I am confident they’ll fix this glitch. The problem is it’s not waterproof or transfer proof at all. When I put it on models and talent it’s under their eyes before I can blink. I kept trying because I couldn’t believe it and had a time of it on set. Finally I’ve actually tossed it. Love you MUFE, I think I will try and reach out to corporate to let you know about this issue. Not complaining, just feedback. :-)

So sad…..
Unfortunately Makeup Forever discontinued the non-waterproof version of this mascara. I had been using that version for a decade and unfortunately need to find a new mascara. The waterproof version is impossible to remove - I’ve tried multiple brands of removers, I’ll wash my face twice and still not have it removed. Bring back the Smoky Extravaganza that’s not waterproof!

Bring back the original
Please bring back the non-waterproof version. As someone with oil-based tears (I found out from my eye doctor after lasic surgery) my eyes remove anything waterproof throughout the day simply by blinking. I’m left with black streaks under my eyes that resemble a football player!! 😫 Your brush is my favorite paired with the original formula. Please, please bring it back!

Fantastic!!
This is my favorite mascara ever. No smudging, truly waterproof, not gooey or clumpy. Unfortunately, they have stopped making the beautiful green, navy & purple shades that were my go-to daily mascaras. Black is too harsh for me, so I can no longer use my favorite mascara.

Pleaseee bring back the original!
The original had been my only mascara for at least 10 years. People would ask if I had falsies on, it was that good. Like others, I tried this one when the original went out of stock. It's terrible. Why would you get rid of the original!? Please bring it back!

Best waterproof mascara ever
I have been using this waterproof mascara for years and will not use anything else. I blink a lot and my eyes run but my mascara does not. After trying lots of mascaras with terrible results I finally found this one and will never buy another brand again.
