1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to ensure they are clean and free from any potential irritants or contaminants.
2. Place the contact lens on the tip of your index finger. Verify that the lens is not inside out by checking its bowl shape and ensuring the edges are facing upwards, not flared out.
3. Gently hold your upper eyelid open with your other hand and lower the lens onto the lower part of your eye's cornea using your index finger.
4. Slowly release your eyelid and blink a few times to allow the lens to settle comfortably into position on your eye.
