(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Boisée is elegant, refined and well-blended, perfect for a day suit. I wore this in summer (26 degrees Celsius) with a suit and it worked perfectly. 

The longevity is great for the scent, around 8 hours, projecting moderately (around arms length) for the first 2 hours) and has a beautiful, soft sillage. This is a scent you dress up for, but it’s not necessarily a “special occasion” fragrance. It is a great fragrance!

It’s not too overpowering- could be worn every day but is complex enough for special occasions as well. It’s top notes are Black Pepper and Coriander with Iris, Cocao & Cedar middle which complements it’s base notes of Woody Accord, Sandalwood and Patchouli. The spicy black pepper and woody accord present an enticing masculine musk; and the warmth of the subtle Iris and Sandalwood provide an unexpected sweetness to the scent. It’s warm, earthy, masculine and memorable! I gifted it to my boyfriend and he was impressed with the scent and quality of the bottle and packaging. It is a perfect gift for your partner.

It starts with this spicy kick, which makes it feel really refined right off the bat. Then it dries down into this smooth, almost creamy scent defs something that stands out. The sandalwood and patchouli in the base give it a warm, earthy finish that lasts all day. The longevity is great—I can spray it in the morning and still catch whiffs of it by evening. It’s not too overpowering either, just the right amount of presence. I find it works well for pretty much any occasion, whether it’s work or a night out. Plus, the bottle itself looks super sleek on my shelf. It’s a winner for sure.
