[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love perfumes, even more, I love a good light perfume that has notes you would never think could work well together! This perfume by Dolce & Gabbana smells amazing. I would buy Devotion, especially to get a bigger size than the small sample size that Influenster doesn’t normally send for us to try. I was kind of let down and surprised when I opened the package for this tester only because I’m use to receiving either a full size product or at least a size bigger than this little baby sample tester size. And I know, this is to test the product out, so I’m not complaining, at all. I just found it to be sort of a let down. All in all, I love the perfume!

This would be perfect for anyone new to gourmands or looking for a more subtle gourmand scent. This is a very safe blind buy; it’s so versatile and easy to wear on any occasion and is a real crowd pleaser. The longevity could be better but I know an intense version has been released, this one would be more suitable for everyday wear and sits closer to the skin. It’s really nice and I have had a few compliments wearing it too!

At first I wasn’t a huge fan. When you first spray the scent was giving me citrus and cream. I’m not a big fan of smelling like baked god or any sort of food so I disliked this pretty quickly. My mind changed slightly though when the perfume dried down about 30 minutes later. The dry down is like a sweet vanilla which was pretty good. It’s not something I would buy even though the dry down was a nice scent but if you like citrus and musk mixed together I think you’d be interested in this.

I definitely pick up on the candied citrus notes in here, so its sweet and citrusy, but not overwhelming on any fronts. If you’re a fan of orange creamsicle, this is the closest you can get to that smell in a perfume while still smelling relatively “adult”. This would make a good everyday perfume for someone who likes vanilla and citrus notes/perfumes, especially for the spring and summer. I could also see this being a good gift option for someone trying to buy perfume as a gift for someone else. I would say it’s a relatively safe blind buy/gift purchase. I might look into adding a larger size of this into my perfume rotation for the spring/summer.
