Doesn't break out my skin!! ;)))

Works wonders on my breakout prone skin (no oils) and feels great like a true Dior foundation along with the signature Dior subtle rose fragrance which I absolutely love. I don't like liquid foundations so when they discontinued the DreamCushion with SPF 50, I switched over to this Dior Forever Natural Velvet powder foundation and it is just about as streamlined (I just now use Supergoop's sunscreen first which doubles as a primer since the Dior primers all break me out and I've returned one recently because of this). This powder foundation also lasts a good bit of time so I like that and also that it's very portable and lightweight!

It's hard to imagine anything better than this!

It does not clog pores, which was important for me, such an expensive glow of the skin, despite the excellent matting, both on its own and in combination with foundation. A completely weightless covering that is impossible to notice on your face, as if you have no makeup, but well-groomed healthy skin. Does not accentuate flaking, perfect falls on the skin. If used in addition to evening or full make-up, complete with foundation, it will keep the area without excess shine all day.

First time.

First time user here. Even though this goes on very smooth, it is not for me. I have never worn makeup (liquid or mat foundation) ever, but all of a sudden I am obsessed with it (hello flawless tv personalities!!) I wanted to give this a try! It does slide on effortlessly, however, as we all foundations in my opinion, I just felt like my skin was suffocating. But the coverage is beautiful, not crazy and it's packaged so beautifully.

Love it 😍

My skin color is tanned, it’s hard to get a good foundation color for my face; sometimes I have to order 3w but I think it’s a little bit dark for me. This powder color it’s a little bit light but I guess I can use it during the winter time. My skin type is medium light but because of the sun it looks tanned. For anyone from Mexico -hot- cities this might be a little bit fair .. still works great for going out at night.

Fool proof foundation

Light to medium coverage that feels comfortable on the skin. I find this very easy to apply (I use a brush in preference to the applicator provided). Gives a natural finish. The colour stays true - no oxidation. Lovely large compact with mirror and I’m pleased that it is refillable. Surprisingly long-lasting coverage that does not seem to go patchy on my skin. For a fuller coverage I use Forever concealer first.

Dior Forever Velvet 2.5

I only use Dior compact powder. I was so disappointed when Diorskin forever compact with SPF (023) was discontinued. I’ve been looking for a replacement but haven’t found one. I tried the versions that followed but it didn’t work for me. However this new version (2.5) is perfect for my skin tone; I also love the nice scent and the updated sponge. I’m happy with this one. I hope you will add an SPF in the future.

Will never use another brand again !

Purchased this last month and what a gem to my change in cosmetics. Applied to my face and didn’t even realise I had anything on and wow it covered everything !! The fact that it’s refillable is Perfect, one tiny thing I would for future is make it so you can engrave it, sustainable and personable would be perfect in my eyes but overall delighted with this addition to my cosmetic collection

Good product

I was using the previous version (compact foundation extreme control, now discontinued) for years and was very happy with it. This new product is a disappointment - struggle to find the right shade, texture is somewhat dry on my skin,. It's a good, quality product just not as superb as the previous one. I may try other brands.
