Addict Lip Maximizer Lip Plumping Gloss Lip Balm (012 Rosewood)

I received the Addict Lip Maximizer in the shade 001 A Delicate Pink. The container is beautiful. The applicator applies smoothly. The cooling/minty/tingling sensation lasted about 2 hours max. I have a full set of lips so i didn’t notice much of a difference for a plump, only the outline of my lips had a bit more volume to them. I do have lip blush on my lips so the tint was not noticeable it just looked like any regular lip gloss with a bit of glitter. Overall I think this is a good product, this shade gives you more of a natural look which is more my style.

I didn’t expect a huge difference but I honestly noticed none. there is a slight, nice tingling sensation like it would plump but I really noticed no change. However it does hydrate really well and give a nice color to your lips! You can tell it’s not a cheap gloss because it isn’t tacky and super sticky like a cheap one. It feels really nice and has long last hydration and shine on lips which I do like! If you want plumping don’t count on this, but hydrating and shine yes! I have shade 001, and it’s such a perfect almost clear but slightly pink. Favorite situation right now has been a nude brown lip liner smudged in with this all over the lips and it gives a perfect babydoll look. I’m genuinely obsessed. Now the price point is a bit steep, but somehow Dior always manages to get their lip products right, and I would say this one is worth it. I will be repurchasing when I finish this tube, which might be soon with how often I have been gravitating towards it.

It’s a bit thick, which initially made me worry it would be sticky and goopy but it’s not at all. It’s really comfortable to wear, and I get easily irritated by the feeling of stuff on my lips so it’s a big pass for me. I love the scent, I’m a huge minty person especially with lip products. The plumping effect is a little lackluster. It does give a bit of one though, and it’s really flattering for daily use. I love this as an addition to my daily simple makeup routine.

Last year, I purchased the Glow Balm in Opal which was Limited Edition. Such a beautiful shade, especially over lipstick to spruce it up. How relieved I was to see that Opal had showed up as a new Maximiser, yet every time I clicked on, it was always out of stock. Finally, to my surprise, it returned and I snapped it up straightaway. I'm simply loving it, just like my other Maximisers. What is different with this Opal shade is the shift it can bring when adding over another colour on the lips or just by itself. Looking forward to purchasing more of these wonderfully moisturising Maximisers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sometimes use this on its own in shade Berry and it gives my lips healthy shine with only the barest of colour. It looks really healthy and when used like this, it's more of a balm, i feel. At other times I use it like a gloss, as a top coat over lip pencil or lipstick. This adds a little extra glamour. I find it much less sticky than standard gloss. Oils tend to run and bleed (better suited to younger lips!) but this is a perfect product for me and I will definitely keep buying it. It doesnt tingle or anything but it feels refreshing and minty. I only use a small amount so each application lasts a few hours, then I tend to reapply. It leaves my lips in a lovely condition. I recommend it without reservation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this gloss in the shade 01 pink. It’s very sheer but adds dimension to my lips. There wasn’t a noticeable plumping effect, but a pretty product nonetheless. I wasn’t expecting lip injection level plumping, but hoping I’d feel a little tingle, sadly not the case. It has a light sweet scent to it -pleasant even as someone who dislikes scented makeup products. I’d love to try the different shades to experience better color payoff. This shade is great for daily wear and compliments any makeup look, this would be great as a lipstick topper to add more shine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally a fantastic lipgloss, I usually hate lipgloss cause I feel like they sit on top of my lips rather than hydrate them and make them incredibly sticky and tacky. BUT NOT THIS. It actually moisturizes and is a less sticky gloss that feels more like a lighter Vaseline. I was worried it would be one of those glosses that plumps your lips by stinging/burning the skin but it has only a slight cooling feeling and doesn’t make your lips look swollen but instead just really plump from moisture. It was so good I bought my mom one of these for Christmas.
