[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little bit of this goes a long way! Has amazing full coverage and blends like a dream. I accidentally got the wrong shade but mixed with some colour corrector and blended out fine. Will definitely be purchasing again in the correct shade!

I bought it few days ago in one of the stores. With a help of gorgeous assistant I managed to choose - as I thought then - the perfect shade. B20 Ivory - very pale, yellow undertones, and - what was the most important thing for me - not orange. I took a full size bottle to my place and when a few days later I wanted to use it I was petrified - this is not even close to the shade that I choose! It’s absolutely orange, dark - I can expect something like this from cheap foundation, but not for this price! Now, I end up with a bottle of foundation that I cannot use and absolutely lost a trust to this company - how I can buy anything when I even in store samples are not adequate to the product I’m buying?! I am absolutely disappointed...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the hydrating foundation after my day cream and ysl airthin uv defender. The colour was perfect as previously I had used warm honey which is slightly light for me so the next one up BD55 was perfect. I was really pleased with the easy application and the beautiful fragrance of marigold extract. A little goes a long way and offers lovely hydrating look which is clearly visible. I'm happy to find a foundation which is a true match...and it hasn't been easy! This will be my make up bag essential! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is quite elegant as a first impression. Have tried many foundations but this one is exceptionally beautiful. It’s very light. During this pandemic situation, many of us are working from home and may not need to wear full makeup all day. But putting on the foundation which is hydrating and gives weightless feel, and even more, a natural healthy glow really lights up your day. Whenever you need a video call meeting, you won’t have any pressure, just turn the camera on. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fresh feeling of applying this foundation to my skin as it goes on lightly and smoothes out my complexion with a natural looking, medium coverage. I use just one pump for a natural look and 2-3 pumps and apply with a brush for a more full-makeup look as shown in my 3rd photo. It is very long-lasting and as I have an oily t-zone I find I can wear it without a moisturiser underneath. The shade BR25 is perfect for my pale skin and it contains Spf 22 which is a bonus too.

I have bought this foundation for many years now as the shade matches my skin better than others, but I am so disappointed to see that YSL in 2021 have used new packaging to disguise that there is less product for the same price. Not only has the formula changed over the years to be less satisfying - but now less product for the same price is a step too far. Time to get myself to a beauty counter to find a new brand. What a shame. The old formula was 30ml, new is 25ml.
