The color payoff is fantastic—rich and vibrant without being overwhelming. It leaves a nice subtle but noticeable stain that lasts through the day. I love that it’s not sticky at all, which makes it comfortable to wear throughout the day. The brush applicator is a standout feature; it applies the product precisely and evenly, making touch-ups a breeze. The packaging is also adorable, adding a touch of luxury to my makeup bag. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new YSL the inks vinyl cream lip stain is so pretty. The color I have is 611 which is called mauve provocation. It’s a very elegant neutral color and very close to my original lip color. This lip stain is a kind of skincare makeup. It makes my lips feel very moisturizing and non sticky at all. The applicator is very flexible and makes the application smooth and effortless. It’s very comfortable to wear and has minimal transfer while eating and drinking.

I didn’t love the scent but I do love the build-ability of the product and the easy to apply lip wand. Great selection of colors at a great reasonable price.

At first I thought this was quite sheer but after stepping away realize it’s a beautiful deep shade! It feels silky on and so far has been great at lasting hours at a time. I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The YSL Vinyl Cream Lip Stain in 416 Chili Provocation is amazing. It’s a bold, fiery red that really stands out. The formula is super smooth and lightweight, plus it’s glossy without being sticky. The applicator makes it easy to apply, and the color is vibrant with one swipe (pictured). It lasts for hours, even through eating and drinking, and fades really nicely without getting patchy. The shine does fade a bit over time, so you might need to reapply if you want to keep that glossy look, but the stain itself stays strong. The packaging is luxurious very YSL, and the scent is floral/rose but fades away pretty quickly. Overall, it’s a stunning lip product that’s totally worth the splurge if you’re into bold, long-lasting colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would call this a liquid lipstick more than a lip stain. It’s not glossy but has a decent amount of shine to it. It feels pretty thin straight out of the tube but once it sits for a few seconds it gets tacky. It’s not uncomfortable, and it helps with the longevity of the product. However, the lip stain effect is minimal. I noticed a very slight stain left after wiping away the swatch on my hand. On my lips, the color isn’t vibrant enough to notice any sort of stain, so it doesn’t compare to Korean lip stains in that regard. The texture is quite nice though. The packaging is pretty but it’s plastic and not very heavy so it doesn’t feel as much like a luxury product. However, that makes it easier to take on the go. It also has a nice stopper on the bottle that prevents the sides from getting messy. The wand is also pretty unique in that it’s pointed at the tip to allow for getting in your lip lines more easily. Personally, I feel like it actually makes it a little harder to apply because too much product gets concentrated at the tip. The color I got is 610 which is a pretty nude color which looks slightly brown on my light complexion. It has good color payoff which can be applied lightly for a more natural look. I also like how there’s a cutout on the side to show the shade, which I think looks pretty but is also practical. Overall I think this is a solid product despite the fact that it doesn’t have great staining ability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this lip stain. The applicator is great and you can apply precisely. It doesn’t feel sticky or gloopy like some lip glosses do. At first when applying, it feels more like a matte lip gloss does. But this has a beautiful shine to it instead. It doesn’t dry my lips out and it’s long lasting. It still looks good hours later even after eating and drinking. I got the color Nude Champion. I usually wear lighter/pink based colors but I think this color works well with my fair complexion. And the packaging is really beautiful too.
