I purchased my eyeliner pencil from walgreens and realized after the fact that the end was made out of plastic. I couldn't figure out how I would try to sharpen it and until I saw all of these reviews. One of the reviewers wrote that she used her Barry M sharpener. I ordered a Barry M eyeliner pencil sharpener and IT WORKED. It sharpened my Rimmel pencil and my Maybelline Longlasting pencil. I would RECOMMEND BARRY M COSMETIC PENCIL SHARPENER TO SHARPEN THIS PENCIL. I HOPE THIS HELPS.

Not worth the money
What's showing on the tip is all you get. Nothing inside the pencil and no way to raise or lower the tip once it's gone.

I wanted to love this, but...
I had lots of trouble with this product. I tested it on my hand, and it really passed the waterproof and smudge test, but I noticed that when applying, it sat on the surface of my skin and didn't fill in the tiny grooves, and large chunks of the pencil fell off and got stuck to my skin. When applying it to my eye, I could NOT get a clean line, the pencil did not glide over my skin, and more chunks of the pencil came off. I'll be sticking with my current brand of eyeliner pencil - it performs much better than this one at a much lower price point.

Yes! So much YES!
I received this eyeliner free for review in my Frosty Voxbox from Influenster and I am really glad I did! I will buy this one from now on. It went on smooth and rich! I will buy another in brown and blue and maybe even purple if they all go on as beautifully as the black did!

Can't Sharpen it
This is a really good eyeliner. It applies easily and stays put. But I can't use mine anymore after 2 weeks as it has gone blunt and I am unable to sharpen it. This would be a 5 star review if it was a twistable liner l.

Awesome product!
Disclaimer : I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Its very easy to use, creamy rich in color. I line my eyes using liquid liner usually, but I switched and used this instead and the results were very similar. I , of course, used primer so that it wouldn't smudge and was very pleased with the results. I did minimally re-touch once, not after that. I would give it 9/10. I took off a point because I think the cap should come with an inbuilt sharpener, its so much more efficient like that instead of having to look for one every time.

Virtually impossible to sharpen
I love the color and ease of putting on this liner, but I am extremely disappointed in the difficulty of sharpening the pencil. Given the gel texture, the product is used up extremely quickly, so I got about one week's worth of use before it needed sharpening. Sadly, one week is all I got for my money I tried 3 different sharpeners that I own and none worked. The effort just to turn the pencil is ridiculous. I read other reviews and saw a specific "sister company" sharpener suggested by customer service, but I absolutely should not have to purchase another sharpener in order to use the product. A self- sharpening option would get 4-5 stars from me. At least bundle the pencil with a sharpener that will actually work with it.

Very smooth!!
I received this product from Influenster to review in return for my honest opinion. And honestly, I love it! It goes on smoothly and dark. It's soft like a crayon so you don't have to worry about poking yourself like with a pencil. It's also very light and easy to use. It does sharpen well so you can easily get the look you want. The only downside is that it does smudge easiliy and even hours after you apply it. It's not a liquid but it doesn't "dry" it stays in the crayon consistency. Regardless I still love it because it's a very rich black and it's easy to apply. I haven't used an eyeliner that applies that smoothly before. I'm excited to try other colors!
