This was my first time buying RT brushes and I had high expectations due to all the good reviews i have read on blogs and YT. I was pretty disappointed as the brushes were not up to mark especially the eye shade brush. The bristles are not soft and uneven.

I got these a week ago and I love them so much!! They are so soft and easy to clean and use I feel like these are great for beginners, I use the flat one for concealer, the more round one for highliter and the double ended one for my browns, or eyeshadow eyeliner. Overall amazing product, definitely will be buying more!!!

I already had the shading brush, which I love, but liking that one so much I wanted a few more eye brushes. This set caught my eye. It's great value for money and both brushes are great. The shading brush lays on product really well, both glitters and mattes. It's soft and easy to clean too. The blending brush is one of my favorites though. It applies product to my crease so well that I don't even need to do any blending. I love it's shape too, it's one of those brushes I just love to use.

I'm reviewing the Deluxe Crease Brush in particular because that's the reason I purchased this duo. I've had one of them for many years that came with the original eye essentials set (with purple handles). The short, dense bristles aren't great for blending powder eyeshadows in the crease, but fantastic for quickly blending out cream eyeshadow. I decided to pick up another one, as I wear cream eyeshadow often, and was very dissapointed and baffled. The new Deluxe Crease Brush that came in this duo has a pink handle and is simply a completely different brush than the one I purchased years ago. The original one had soft, densely packed bristles, while the new one is significantly larger, fluffier, less dense, and a bit scratchy. I don't know when it was redesigned, but it no longer serves my purpose well, and the quality has definitely gone down hill. I'll have to think twice before purchasing any other Real Techniques brushes, because the quality is slipping and I have no way of knowing which products have been changed.

I love these 2 brushes. They are my 'go to brushes' most days. Particularly the crease brush, I don't think there's a day I've not used it and I don't think I could live without it. It's perfect for concealer around my eyes and nose area.

These brushes are so versatile, especially the deluxe crease brush. I love how you can use it for under eye concealer as it fits in the orbital bone perfectly. Both brushes make the application of eyeshadow simple and easy.

I bought these about a week ago, I meant to buy the instapop set, but picked these up on accident. I'm still going to go get the instapop set, but I'm glad i got these. I haven't put them down since i got them.

I own several of these brushes and will continue to repurchase. They're the perfect duo and it's so convenient that they are sold together. Can't beat the price either
