Bought this as an extra sponge during my lunch break to get ready before an evening work event. The sponge did not expand as usual when wet. It was hard as a brick and to top it off it was already slipping. Not even half as use and the sponge was already breaking down. I had to just put it aside and continue my makeup application with my old original orange RealTechniques sponge. Very disappointed.

I bought this because I wanted a sponge meant to use dry for liquid I didn’t want a Dewey wet look, this sponge to me is great.. there are many bad reviews I think People are confused this is made to be more dense and not meant to use wet I mean you can but best results are dry.. I tried the blue one that’s meant for dry and airblend finish wasn’t very dense like this at all didn’t feel it would cover as good. The orange original one says best to use damnp, I’m not sure if I tried it dry if I would Love it as much as this one..

If you go into it knowing it’s a dry sponge, it works very well as a dry sponge! I haven’t expirienced it soaking up too much product; at least no more than a wet sponge. My only complaint is that it’s a little tough to clean since it doesn’t absorb water very well. But other than that, I get the same result with this as I do with a wet sponge. I’d recommend it to people that don’t like the idea of accumulating bacteria with a wet sponge.

I decided to try RT sponges after reading a raving review online. just used the cleansing sponge, love it. Also purchased the dual ended sponge for applying moisturizer after viewing the 101 video and unfortunately, when mixed with my moisturizer it created an awful rotten egg smell on the sponge. I also found it difficult to apply the moisturizer using this because it’s pretty firm. Like the concept, dislike this particular product.

I bought this sponge a few weeks ago to replace my current beauty sponge. I noticed the packaging said to use dry which I thought was interesting and different and I also watched the tutorial videos here. This sponge does nothing except soak up liquid foundation and It’s hard as a rock. Maybe it would work better with powder products... I will go back to the diamond sponge or the original orange sponge.

I have used the Miracle Complexion Sponge (orange one) and I love it. So when I saw this I bought it to see if it was just as good as the other one and I was disappointed. Its really hard, not as soft as the other one, which for me it makes it harder to blend (my foundation for example). I have a lot of Real Techniques product but this is it is not as good.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it is by far the worst foundation/contour application tool I have ever used. I have always been such a fan of real techniques so I was very disappointed by this promising product. Not only was it rough on my skin, but it wasted makeup, applied unevenly and caused streaks. Would NOT recommend this sponge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I bought this sponge,ad first I was a little annoyed as delivery cost so much here to the uk however it was all worth it in the end. I take this sponge everywhere and use it every day because instead of having two different sponges I can just use one which also means that it is less washing , it's just amazing!
