[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In its trademark 1 Million packaging Elixir Parfumerie Intense is serious about luxury and satisfaction. The bottle feels like an ancient Egyptian treasure and application is through pressing a sleek and flush button concealed within the top of the case. The bottle builds on the original EDT concept and this is fitting as the same can be said about the fragrance itself. Its mainly natural ingredients are more advanced with a sweet, mild wood and creamy finish and has significantly improved Longevity. It is fantastic at a conference or formal event, or a romantic evening especially in the colder seasons. When compared to competing products this Elixir offers great value, offering the same quality and performance at around half the cost. This makes it a great gift for a loved one or a nice treat for yourself!!

Another plus, is the longevity and projection. I used three sprays and it lasted an easy 8-10 hours. I received many compliments from strangers and friends. Opens really sweet and fruity and drys down to a lovely Vanilla and slightly floral woody scent. This doesn't dissapoint and last all day, it's very strong and I could smell it through out the day. Had compliments after it had been on for 6 hours so great value. A proper elixir strength, projects really good. Also it's blended very well so if you like sweet fragrances get it. Box is nice and shiny but the bottle is special the iconic gold bar and that black set onyx. Overall very pleased with this fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When initially sprayed into the skin, one million elixir admittedly has quite a strong synthetic smell of sweet apple. This lasts for around thirty minutes or so depending on how much you spray. This initial scent is not completely headache inducing and overpowering, but it’s important to note and I would advise using this aftershave well in advance of leaving the house. After this initial synthetic period the scent settles and drys down. This is where the aftershave proves it worth and leaves a very pleasant mix of vanilla, rose and a sort of strawberry/bubblegum aromas. Whilst listed as an aftershave “for men” I could easily see this being a unisex aftershave based on this. The This lasts for around 6 or 7 hours in my case which is slightly on the lower end for an “intense” version, but in my instance that is most of my working day, so it fills its purpose. The outer packaging is generic and particularly bland in this instance as there is hardly anything on it, leaving you white a white and gold box. However, the bottle itself is more what you’d expect from a designer brand such as Paco Rabanne. Resembling a gold bar as with the rest of the one million line , there is an embossed logo on the front and on the spray button.

Overall, it’s a bold, daring fragrance that leans hard into sweetness and sensuality. If you like perfumes that make a statement, this is one of those. The price is very good for what it offers, and the effectivness is impressive. it lasts for hours and projects well without needing constant reapplication.
