This eyeliner is marketed as non-smudge and as one of the pricier eyeliners in comparison to other similar brands I thought it would be a good replacement for my liquid eyeliner that ran out. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with this product, no matter what I used on my eyelids (foundation, primer, eyeshadow) this eyeliner smudged over my eyelid an hour into work. I've had to remove it multiple times and re-apply using a old "back-up" cheaper eyeliner which is actually working much better and it was only £1.99. Avoid if you like precise lines!

I'm not excited about this product. When I try to create a fancy wing, at of the end of the first line it’s no longer covering / black. It does not stay in place properly. Before the end of my day is totally smudged al over my eyelid. And I have a very calm office job, so no crazy movements, rain, heat or sweating. I have used the product 4 times (tried another surface below, extra layer and things like that) but i’m not using is anymore. (Sorry if i made missspellings, English is nog my native language)

Why on earth has this been discontinued?? This was an amazing product! The wand applicator was the right shape for easy application without it ending up all over your eyelashes.. the formula was incredible - stayed on all day with no smudges. You could go clubbing or cry happy tears at a wedding and your eyeliner was still exactly where it should be. It applied nicely, evenly, without being too dry or too gloopy. I preferred the black lacquer for easy removal but both were really good. This has been my most loved product for over 10 years.. and my mum’s and my sister’s. Please, please, please bring it back - there is nothing else that’s anywhere near as good. The new L’Oreal eyeliner applicator gets the product all over my lashes and takes me twice as long to apply/ tidy up. I’ve tried other brands like MAC but they’re not as good as the original black lacquer super liner.

I loved the sponge tip, it allowed me to make my everyday thin cat eye easy and effective and it's just an all round great product! I'm on my second tube of it this year!
