Perfect Prep & Matte Primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using a primer and I now understand why I should, it’s amazing! Lancôme Prep & Matte Primer, it’s lightly scented and absorbs quickly on my skin easily making all those pores less visible and hides my age spots so it’s ready for my makeup. My skin feels hydrated and not oily, very impressed when I used Lancôme Fix It Forget It Spray afterwards, my make up looked flawless and stayed on all day.

The right Step 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to trial this as part of the Roseclub and it’s a great start to the makeup routine to minimise the appearance of pores, refine the skin texture and control shine. It’s good for the all day hydration look and is suitable for all skin types. I noticed it improved the foundation wear all day too.

Foundation stayed on, all day after using this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know there is a trend for multiple stages in make up application and preperation...do we need another stage? This one...Yes! The primer had no discernible scent, is white, medium thickness and applies really easily. I applied after cleansing & on top of moisturer. I waited on my moisturiser absorbing so there want too much slip or product clash. The primer is white in colour, absorbs really easily and provided a great base for foundation. It’s called “Prep & Matte” I didn’t find it overly matte nor did it make make up look flat or mask like. It was lightly hydrating in that skin didn’t feel tight or dry after using it. Upon taking make up off in evening there was visibly more to remove. So, something was working to keep it in place. I travel by underground and work in a centrally heated environment that can be drying and using this primer my make up lasted all day, looked fresh. Yes, it’s an additional stage, that’s a minute longer, but your make up stays in place all day. Worth the extra stage on my opinion

Best primer ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this amazing mattifying primer. After a few uses I can see a big different when I’m wearing my make up all day. I have combination skin which can get really oily on the T-zone but wearing this primer keeps it matte all day. I noticed my pores are less visible and my skin hydrated.

Left my skin super smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a gorgeous product! It left my skin super smooth, ready for makeup. It doesn't dry skin out either, which was a worry for me...I like my skin to look natural, however I do have large pores and past Acne scars, so too much of a 'dewy effect' can have a real highlighting effect on my pores and scars. Equally if it looks too matt, it can look quite ageing, so I need somewhere in between, not easy!!! This primer really does seem to work for me, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, has a nice texture and does appear to lessen the look of my large pores. I also feel it helps to hold my makeup on for longer. A lovely product, which I will now continue to use.
