Italian holiday in a bottle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that impressed me about this gorgeous fragrance was the beautiful bottle. The elaborate fig design looks beautiful when I pull it out of my handbag and always makes me smile. The fragrance itself is totally addictive! It hits me on two levels - first there is a burst of delightful freshness which is underlaid by the scent of soft ripe figs reminding me of a stroll through an Italian market while on holiday. There are other ingredients too which combine to make a fully-rounded olfactory experience, a fragrance which is unusual enough for people to stop me in shops and ask what it is - and best of all it lasts for ages.

Wow this is NICE!

I bought this based on the fragrance notes described here. I love it. It’s a fragrance my nose searches for while wearing it, I look forward to smelling it. It’s not a loud fragrance but does last. The fig note is sweet but this is not a sweet syrupy fragrance which I generally gravitate too. The floral supports the fig. To me it’s definitely for women, not unisex. It’s a nice step away from the rose fragrances and sparkling citrus fragrances I keep buying just because they’re safe and I know I’d like them. I’m glad I bought this and will buy again.

What kind pf scent?

It is not a nice scent. It is neither floral, nor gourmand, nothing that I call a nice scent. I get some orange peel mixed with some greenish stuff that do not blend well together and do not create anything special. Just some unpleasant notes, and it is really too much money for this scent. Why Lancome does not stick with the nice scent such as Parfait de roses, oud ambroisie and all other rosy perfumes that people die to have and they cannot find for a reasonable price.

Bold and unusual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this fragrance for a few weeks now and still can't quite put my finger on what it smells of! It's quite a bold and powerful fragrance, which lasts really well on my skin and develops throughout the day. I think it would be more of a summer fragrance, it definitely has a Mediterranean feel to it; a bit citrusy, but also woody and musky. The bottle is beautiful and looks lovely on my dressing table, and is a handy size to keep in my handbag too.

Blech!

I really wanted to like this perfume. I bought it blindly just from the description because I love fresh scents for the summer and I thought it would be a nice scent but it is odd and hard to describe the smell. At first spray, you think ok this is not bad. But as it continues to wear, it does not smell good at all (at least not on me). I finally had to return it because it just did not smell as I thought it would.

This is me An amazing personal fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t believe the scent when I sprayed this perfume on my wrist.Its me to a tee.Its not the usual Lancôme sweet essence it’s a very personal fragrance.i would like this to be my statement perfume as it has a sort of green Woody fragrance with hints of citrus You sort of want to keep snuggling into it. It’s just heavenly with a touch of sexy wood nymph Shame I’m 71 but I can dream

signature perfume

I love this perfume, I am in my fourth bottle... It works for me at all seasons and all occasions. It's not just a fresh citrusy scent; I can smell jasmin, grass, musk and in low temperatures some woody notes at the dry down. Lasts until next shower- more than 12h and projects pretty well, I get many unexpected compliments, hours after the initial spray

Refreshing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume is totally different to my usual choices i make from the lancome range but its so refreshing. The hints of fig and citrus remind me of summer and holidays to come and therefore uplifting. Worn a couple of times on evenings out and had excellent comments on both occassions. The bottle itself is lovely and adorns my dressing table.
