I have used the soft cream and the moisturising cream for many years, alternating between the two for summer and winter. I have recently bought the new soft cream and not realising they've had their ingredients changed. With this new soft cream my face came up in red rashes and tiny spots all over with a seriously burning sensation. It made me allergic to all my other facial products. My face felt like it was burning all day. I couldn't work out what was the problem until I did a product elimination process and realised it was this with its new ingredients. Highly disappointed as this was my favourite cream it was my holy grail.

First of all, "Anna" of NY's abusive comment below is a clear example of trolling. I highly doubt she is what she claims to be. I have been using La Mer's skin care range for over 3 years now and I can tell you that my complexion has never been better than it is right now. Yes, La Mer is an expensive product and everyone must work within their own budget but it is a CHOICE that every person has the right to make without being abused for it. If I could recommend trying even just one item of the La Mer range, it would be the moisturiser which comes in a range of formulas to suit all types of skin in all types of climate.

Having used La mer for 20 years in all the formulas, i tend to have all 3 depending on the climate and time of year, the cool gel cream, the cream and the soft cream Interested in trying the new soft cream i bought it, but tbh it makes my skin abit blotchy this new formula. I find it abit thicker and whateverr they have changed in it, it doesnt agree with my skin Such a shame as i love this soft cream formula, but i had to buy as much as i could online of the old version before it sold out as i cannot use the new one due to it irritating my skin I would advise those who have used the previous formula to just be careful how this new formula reacts with your skin as it didnt work well for me

Lovely new cream, like it says, soft! Leaves my skin feeling totally pampered and I have received many compliments on my skin since using La Mer. I do not use a scrap of make-up so what you see is what you get - and I have super soft, calm, fresh skin..... And it shows!

I have tried the 4 different variants of the Lam Mer moisturisers and my favourites are the soft cream and the lotion which I switch between using. Leaves my skin hydrated and plump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cream. While it feels rich, it's also really light to apply on the skin and you don't need a lot, so a little goes a long way. My skin feels super soft.
