I feel like its a nice light natural scent that is woodsy and smells like the good smells of nature. I would love a bigger bottle of it and will buy one because I did like the scent pretty well its not overpowering and smells like a man should.

The scent of cedar in this is almost therapeutic with it being able to give you that masculine confidence when well groomed. It made my other colognes become the ones for my friends to use since they are not up to par with this one, according to the Mrs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I receive a new scent, I cannot wait to wear it to work the next day to see what happens. That is usually how I judge how well I like a new fragrance, how well others notice it and compliment me on it. After applying a generous spritzing in the a.m. of about 4-5 sprays on both my shirt and exposed skin/neck, I was on my way to the office. After applying, the smell is very clean and inviting. The product description lists notes of cardamom, cedar wood, vetiver, and patchouli. I won't pretend to be a scent expert; I don't necessarily detect hidden notes of the different ingredients. I just know that I like how it smells. However, to me, the scent quickly dissipated, and neither I nor anyone else I was in close proximity to at work that day noticed it or made comment. So long-lasting I would say this one is not. The directions do say to spray abundantly so maybe I just did not use enough. But just because it is subtle, does not make this a bad fragrance at all. The scent itself I find to be very enjoyable. It is very attractive and made me feel more confident. The label further goes on to describe it as an encounter between water and nature, and I oddly but totally, do get that and it is nice.

I like to wear different scents depending on the occasion, season etc. I was excited to try this L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Eau & Cèdre Eau de Toilette Intense. Such a nice woodsy fragrance. I love the top notes of Cardamom and cedar. I also detect some Patchouli. It's intense and inviting. I've received many compliments and people asking me what I'm wearing! My wife also loved it and already ordered me a bigger bottle of it. If you like woody aromatic scents give this one a try I don't think you'll be disappointed!

It was very light with a touch of cedar. Not overpowering but just enough to know it’s there. After having it on a few hours for a night out, I could still smell it. It lasted a long time and I was really happy with the smell. I will absolutely purchase the bigger size of this.
