[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lipstick Rouge Dior Velvet, I have found to be a very easy and practical daily lipstick. The Lipstick applies very easily and despite the shade being a nude, the color shows quite well. The application also easily filled in all the creases of my lips with very minimal effort. Throughout the day the lipstick did not smear and did not need to be touched up, Additionally the application felt very lightweight and without looking in the mirror I often forgot That I was wearing lipstick. The product sticks very well and does require gentle scrubbing to completely remove. Overall the Rouge Dior Velvet, I have found to be quite lovely for daily use.

This lipstick has a very lightweight feel on the lips which I like, it applies very smooth and in my opinion looks great. However I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, it’s rather perfumy and while I don’t mind the scent itself it’s not something I would want my lip products to smell like. But it is not a offensive scent by any means and this is a rather mild criticism. In my experience this is not all that long lasting and will need to be reapplied through out the day but it applies very easily so this isn’t much of a problem for me. I would recommend this product unless you’re looking for a very long wear lipstick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a lovely red shade which you can see is highly pigmented. The lipstick is infused with floral lip care consisting of red peony extract which gives your lips intense hydration for up to 24 hours whilst wearing the perfect shade of colour . The range consists of 68 long wear colours in satin and velvet finishes .I love how versatile this shade is and looks great with every look whether it is day or night . It is long lasting on my lips and didn’t smudge at all with its satin look. The new magnetic case is even refillable too which is an added bonus. Another great addition to my make up range.

Why did Dior feel the need to change the Rouge Dior lipstick? Personally, I prefer the original version. I ordered the new one in a shade I use already, Actrice 028, and not only it is much drier and thicker feeling than the original, but the colour is darker, and is nothing like the picture online, which actually looks more like the old version. Having tried it on, I am now stuck with a lipstick that I am unlikely to use. One of my all time favourites was shade 'Paris', but I doubt I will order it going forward, as I hate the texture, and don't trust the colour to be the same. Shame!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster to review. Wasn’t a huge fan of the color. I typically don’t do orangey undertones in my red lipstick. I typically stick to blue undertones. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It was really pretty, just not my go-to for red! The formula was gorgeous and went on wonderfully. When it comes to lipstick, I’m pretty hard on it. So I don’t always expect it to stay. This color and formula stayed pretty well, but I did have to reapply at one point. Overall, I enjoyed it, and would love to try it in another color!

What I really love is that it is a true indulgence and it delivers a perfect fusion of vibrant color, luxurious texture, and long-lasting wear. Another thing to note is that the Rouge Dior not only enhances my lips but also elevates my entire makeup routine. I can really feel the lips staying moisturised in applying it which is also fantastic as my lips used to be little dry. Overall it deserves the 5 stars for its impeccable quality, stunning aesthetics, and the confidence it brings to every wear.

This lipstick has a lot of colour. One swipe is a lot. Unfortunately, this shade, 720 ICONE is considerably bright on me. From the pictures I saw online I thought it would be a medium rose colour. On me it looks more like a bright coral. Using a darker a lipliner before application does very little in terms of altering the shade. I have fair skin with pink undertones, and quite dark lips - rose, plum to cool toned browns generally suit me. Unfortunately I can't wear this. It's still a good quality lipstick, just not a shade that I can wear.
