It's not what I expected - I think I expected something more ambery, but I am very pleasantly surprised. It's a floral for sure, but there's something super powdery about it in a weird but not bad way. It has a makeup-y (?) note to it that I find really cool and comforting (as makeup is a special interest) but not the crayon-expired makeup scent, more just like the scent of a regular lipstick? This feels unisex, and I've been layering it with a pure jasmine, wearing it on its own, and can't wait to experiment more. It's very elegant and ...restrained. Really, really like this.

Our grown son was home so I got his opinion as well: “Not bad.” My son does not typically wear any men’s cologne so take that for what it’s worth. I, on the other hand, am not fond of this fragrance whatsoever. I found it to be just as advertised: INTENSE. Too much so. It had an overall borderline floral/sweet smell that I would not want my man to wear. Very overpowering. I prefer a clean, fresh scent on a man. This is not a scent that I would buy for him. The presentation is good, a masculine bottle with clean lines.

I sprayed it on my arm and it has lasted 6+ hours. At first the smell was really strong, but now it’s still present but settle. I like it! I loved the box and the look of the cologne. It has a luxurious look to it and would look so cool next to other perfume/ cologne bottles. I haven’t smelled a lot of Dior colognes so I don’t have other ones to compare it to but this one stands out to me! I would totally buy this for my husband, dad, or brother for Christmas/ a birthday. I would recommend this cologne and love Dior products! I wish I could add a picture to this review because of how cool the bottle is :)

Personally with initial spray, the scent smells spicy but then starts to dry down to something a bit more woody. It quite intense at first and lingers on for few hours. You have to get really close to the person in order to smell it which can be good or bad. I don’t think he’s that into the scent and I get a little headache when I smell it a little longer. I don’t think it lasts very long for a scent claimed to be intense. I do like it for my husband but I also think it’s a scent for special occasions and nighttime.
