Well, I'm a bit confused. I haven't worn Eau Savage for years but always loved the cologne and the extreme. On my return I went for the perfume and whilst I really do like it, it doesn't smell anything like Eau Savage. Confused! Occasionally I do get a hint and I believe it is a much more complex fragrance and as I say I really do like it. At the same time I bought some Eau Savage after shave balm, which smells like the classic Eau Savage I expected. The perfume is very different. What have I missed? It's called the same but smells completely different.

I purchased this item at the beginning of last month as my first step in to the world of perfumes/scents. I wanted something different from the rest, and for me I knew it was going to be a Dior, but didn't know which one. I actually came across this particular perfume by accident, but I must say it was one of the most pleasant ones I have had, I am a great fan of citrus fruits, so this one caught my attention straight away. There is a great depth to the scent, and Im not quite sure what but it reminds me of something from when I was a child, so for me there is a nostalgic happiness. This for me will be my forever go to, the perfume last the whole day, well actually several and doesn't fade and the bottle looks great too, which is an added bonus.

Iv adored EAU SAUVAGE since i was very young, as my mother always& still does wear it, but EAU SAUVAGE PARFUM , is just the next BEAUTIFUL step up, just a little STRONGER and the longevity is subtly endless which is perfect for a gentle promenade of a warm summer evening on holiday

This is amazing! At first its a blast of citron (lemon like) giving it a very masculine freshness, you can also smell the other notes right when you first spray it. In about an hour the citron begins to fade slightly and the other notes are brought to the forefront, you get an amazing earthy fresh scent from this which is incredibly addictive! Lasts about 10 hours on my skin before you have to touch your nose onto your skin to smell it and leaves an amazing trail for the first 7 hours. On clothes it lasts a couple of days so be warned. This is a parfum for a gentleman, its certainly a mature scent - there is no sweetness or playfulness here, it is straight up business- ( i am under 25 and can still pull this off no issues - its not a seniors scent) but Not something i would wear to a date unless it is already established that she likes it. However, this can be worn all year round and is easily one of the most masculine scents out there! In context- this is the only scent i have purchased a backup bottle for. Well done dior!!!

Pretty good but you have made some changes to the bottle, for example the cap which is a single design whereas before the top or surface was metal and engraved with the Dior logo. And also the scent as a perfume is no longer so strong.

It feels understated yet charismatic, perfect for a man who appreciates classic style without being ostentatious. With moderate projection and impressive longevity, it works beautifully for daily wear in elegant or semi-formal settings.

A wonderful fragrance, especially if you’re looking for something outside the of “blue”. This perfume has good projection with a staying power of at least eight hours on skin and two days on clothes. The smell is dignified!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I was buying another perfume - The "other" Eau Sauvage. Confusing when you have two perfumes with the same name. I didn't know or expect that. I don´t like the smell of this one at all, so a lot of money wasted :(
