After trying Black Honey virtually, I went ahead and took the plunge. I must say after hearing so much about Black Honey, I couldn't wait! After receiving I immediately tried it on thinking it would make my lips look amazing, but I can't believe how bad it made my lips look. I am quite a fair person with pink lips. But Black Honey made them look brown! Like I had just melted chocolate and smeared it over my lips. I really don't know how to describe what it did... I looked like I had a disease. And I'm not being extreme. Berry colours look amazing on my lips and skin colouring. But this did the exact opposite. It's the most expensive mistake I made.

I've been using Clinique products since the 1980s & wearing this little beauty since it first arrived on department store counters. I'm delighted to see that it has become an online sensation - who knew I'd be "on trend"! I find it comfy, soothing on my lips & highly wearable with just about any colour scheme from my wardrobe. I'm a sallow South Asian/ European mix & it just provides the perfect slick of natural colour to give me a lift every time I apply it. Compressing with a tissue & reapplying allows it to stay put so I only have to top it up when eating & drinking. Can't imagine it not being in my little back of tricks!

To be honest, I wasn't sure whether to order this product as I read some mixed reviews. However, I did because I liked the idea of having more sheer lip look with a hint of colour. The first time I used it it had a bit of old product smell,which wasn't nice. This odour dissappeared after the first use. The colour in my opinion is fantastic. My lips look bigger in a way but very natural look. I think this is a great colour. It feels like a lip balm and moisturises the lips. Overall, I am super happy with this product and would recommend it. I don't ofter use lipsticks but this is a quick way to add colour.

This popped up in recommendations + when I did a virtual consultation this was also recommended. I thought I'd try it as I tend not to go for bold lip colour as I'm 58 and my top lip is thinner than my bottom lip so I don't draw attention to that . ( My usual go to is blushing nude ) Anyway I really , really like this . Goes on nicely , has a lipgloss slight sheen to it and feels nice on . I have dark hair , fair skin and naturally rosy lips . This just flatters that and is ideal when I need a speedy + simple makeup look . It definitely needs re application though during the day

I have bought this lipstick 5 times as I like the colours but what I have found with every one of them is when you have used the lipstick the dispenser won't let you return the lipstick fully so the end gets damaged and out of shape when you put the top back on. I complained about this to Clinique when I bought the first one, black honey, I asked if they would look into changing the dispenser I kept hoping they would, but after buying 5 I have given up. I have given it two stars for the colour but if I was just reviewing the dispenser it would be a minus.

I was so excited to try this product- I'd heard amazing reviews about it and it looked subtle and moisturising. I've used mine 3 times since first opening it yesterday and my lips keep itching and getting red. The skin around my lip line has now started to get little spots and certain parts of my lips are cracking and other parts are flaking. I think I'm allergic to this lipstick. Sad because I have used many other Clinique products and been fine. I'm not going to use anything other than vaseline now and hopefully my lips should heal.

The moment i smelled this lipstick (i bought 2 , one should have been a present) i knew it was old, checked the barcode online and production date came up DEC 2017!!!!!! this is a complete disgrace for you selling such old productions! is this how black Friday works at Clinique!!!??? I have also got the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion, which also is with original production date DEC 2017!!! Cheekily you have put a new barcode hiding the original one!! NOT COOL! will be returning all 3 items!

I was so excited to buy this product as I had heard so much about it It looked nice on my hand when testing it but when I got home and tried it on I was so disappointed and frankly horrified I had a luxury product I can never use again Why didn't the lady on the counter warn me it was so drying? I am disabled and don't have much money to spare but I thought I'd treat myself for once but I could literally cry now I've got a lipstick I'll never use again Completely and utterly gutted
