The packaging is timeless and elegant, while the scent lingers for hours. I’m obsessed with the blend of pepper and rose—it must complement my body chemistry perfectly, as I get compliments every time I wear it. My best friend is also hooked, and I’m thrilled to have found my new signature scent for autumn and winter. I would absolutely purchase it again—without a second thought!

It differs from others in the way that every note is delivered so authentically that one would likely not be able to decipher the note from the real thing. Acqua Di Parma Luce Di Rosa opens up with the most refreshing notes of a citrus blend. The blend of citrus notes (a combination in which mandarin is involved and another citrus which dominates the initial projection but I can’t identify yet, likely bergamot) immediately deliver brightness and demand attention as they invigorate the senses and pique your interest for what is to come. I can detect the scent of a rose that is at its highest, freshest and most fragrant moment which gives the illusion that it is suspended in time. I pick up the subtle scent of fresh green grass as the fragrance evolves. This multidimensional and utterly authentic scent brings excitement and pleasure with each spray. As you can imagine I wear it often. It’s intimate yet offers very ‘presentable’ wearability. It sprays with the loud citrus which spikes in intensity as it’s followed by complimentary pepper notes. It that dwindles down as the story of the rose fragrance commences but not before a hint of natural sweetness in an inconspicuous form. I can detect the rose almost throughout the entirety of the duration of the fragrance upon spraying. When it does dwindle down you are left with a finishing touch of woody notes, soft yet very much there. These finishing notes such as vetiver and what smells like cedar wood deliver a quietness to the story of this luminous rose in a bottle. No typical powdery notes can be found here. A flawless, freshly cut rose that has just bloomed and has become bountiful in its abundance of richly pigmented velvety soft petals. Note on bottle and packaging: The thick clear glass bottle is topped with a sturdy black cap. The design of the bottle is simple with an understated label on the front. The bottle is kept safely and preserved away from light in a black opaque cylindrical container allowing the fragrance to sit nicely in the specially designated area designed to hold the bottle. As for the nozzle. It is a long-press, fine mist spray that kicks off the story this fragrance has to tell in a luxurious way. The spray on a fragrance is my easy detection of quality. Most often times it’s a true indicator. I’ve been wearing this almost every other day for a month and I’m head over heels. Final: This is a unisex fragrance. It’s for a woman or a gentleman who exude confidence always in an unpretentious way. For those who have taste in fine things but don’t announce it to the world. Those who desire use fragrance to lift their moods and bring a sense of peace to their minds. It’s also for someone who likes to smell clean and fresh or those who appreciate intricate or niche fragrances. It’s not your typical one size fits all such as the ones produced by lower-end fashion houses or those whose scents are heavily influenced by mainstream celebrities. If you fit this criteria or simply want to experience the product of the true art form of fine fragrances then this is something that should be high up on your shopping list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very light but strong scent. It smells airy and floral but not overpowering. It’s really subtle and nice but you can definitely smell it. It lasts a very long time through scrubs, shower and many washings. A little definitely goes a long way. 1 spray on your wrist and rub together and you’re good. No need to put on your neck. The packaging isn’t wasteful either which I appreciate.

The Acqua Di Parma, Luce di Rosa Eau de Parfum is a vibrant scent with the classic sophistication of rose. With hints of wood and cedar, it’s seriously a symphony for the olfactory. Comes in an elegant looking bottle, which is then wrapped in a beautiful cylinder casing. Such a gem!
