Color Sensational Loaded Bolds Lipstick Lipstick (891 sapphire siren)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the "Maybelline Colour Sensational loaded bold lipstick" in Vivid Vixen. It arrived and I tried it on straight away - I thought "woah" but not necessarily for a good reason. The purple colour is very pigmented and as the name of the product states, bold. I thought maybe I needed I fuller face of makeup to work this look but I still wasn't sure. The lipstick itself feels great on the lip, has a bold colour and lasts for ages. But personally the bright purple is too extreme for me, I would probably only attempt this if I was going to a festival which I'm sadly not! I think I may try purchasing a different shade...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would never usually wear a bold lipstick, I prefer brown tones with my complexion, so I was surprised that this shade suited me. The first thing I noticed was how easily this lipstick glided on. It is really smoother and even. Another good point is the packaging, I prefer lipstick caps to go on easily, and stay on in my handbag. I wouldn't wear this in the day, but would wear it for the evening. The only thing that I found with this lipstick that I wasn't so happy with was the staying power, it didn't last long enough for me. I put it on before a meal and the colour had faded by the end. But all in all, it's a welcome addition to my make up bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the colour of this lipstick. It's not a shade I would normally even give a second look to but wow! It really went with my pale skin. The lipstick had a nice scent which reminded me of playdoh which I quite liked. It glided on effortlessly and doesn't bleed around the lip line. And the pigment level is amazing! The only downside I found was the colour transferred really easily. Half a cup of coffee later and I had rings over my cup and had managed to smear it on my chin. I'd say it's great for a party where you want some drama and have time to reapply. But not brilliant for everyday on the run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely adore the colour of this lipstick! I normally go for reds and purples so this is just my kind of shade. I like the texture as well and it doesn't dry my lips out. In fact, it feels quite moisturising. I have found that it does transfer and I do need to reapply throughout the day but that doesn't bother me too much. I would rather have a lipstick that is moisturising and doesn't stain my lips, than one which lasts all day. The one thing I would suggest is using a lip liner with this lipstick as the bold colour means you really need to create a defined edge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main concern with a lipstick, is does it last and does it dry my lips, so after trying it for a week, what I can say is... I love this lipstick, it's creamy and goes on in one sweep, it's got brilliant staying power, doesn't dry your lips out either and the vibrant colour is fabulous, would love to try it in others colours as feel this definitely has a more evening vampish feel to it, onthe whole I LOVE IT! I went to a party on Saturday night and wore this lipstick, my niece loved it and asked me about it, I had it on me and showed her, she now wants to buy one,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thoughts, expensive looking packaging for a reasonably priced lippy! And Aargh its a bit dark for me. So okay I'm over that now my boyfriend has reviewed it as "sexy baby"..... Goes on easily, good coverage & I slicked over a little gloss purely to lighten it enough for me. I think it would be fab for a night out with the right outfit. I do go for bold lips anyway. Good staying power, even tested with drinks & lasted a good 3/4 hours before topping up. Didn't dry my lips as a lot of products do so thats a plus. Only thing that brought a star off my rating was the way it went onto my teeth but that was maybe more irritating due to the shade. My first time trying any Maybelline product & I definitely would again based on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My intital thought when i first got this lipstick was this colour would never suite me, it's not my colour at all. I was so wrong I put it on and I loved it. It's vibrant but not glossy or shiny, very matte. The coverage is brilliant, you don't need 2/3 coats to get the colour its meant to be. The lipstick I found lasted a couple of hours then I would need to reapply. This did surprise me as with the vibrancy of the colour, I was expected to reapply quite often. Overall I'm very impressed and pleased and I would buy the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the maybelline lipstick I thought the packaging looked quite boring and plain. I wasn't wearing any other makeup when I first tried it on and although I liked the colour vivid vixen 890 I didn't think it suited my complexion, I left it put for the day and it did stay put! The next day I applied my makeup and tried the vivid vixen again and I must say it looked lovely very bold but not too bright. I wore it all day and three friends asked where I got it and they all thought it was from a more expensive brand they loved it as much as me. While I observed they applied there lipstick twice through the evening I didn't have to reapply at all. It was moisturising but at the same time quite matt, I loved it the only reason I'd give 4 stars is due to packaging.
