[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have used a matte finish foundation, mainly due to an ageing skin, thought it would show too many blemishes. On the second day I used a sponge applicator and it went on with ease, and stayed flawlessly shine free, sun blemishes were toned down and the only downside was around the eyes were the dewyness of a lighter foundation may suit my skin better. As for colour I found the Natural Rose a little too pale but Golden Sand gave my skin a warmer glow, without the shine!! I genuinely like the smoothness of touch but I did use a serum base coat as normal for me. My skin still looked good after 12 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the tube and tried this on my hand I thought it looked too dark and matte for me. However, once applied it looked a good colour. I look for a bit of colour anyway to brighten up my pale winter complexion. I mixed this with a little highlighting fluid because I didn't want a matte look for daytime and it looked good. I used no concealer and the cover and overall look was what I was looking for. Looking forward to using it on a night out because I think it'll be ideal for a more made up look too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this foundation using a beauty blender sponge. On half my face I used a primer before applying the foundation and left the other half free of any other products. The foundation went on smoother and had nicer appearance on the side that had primer. The product is quite thick and dries quickly to a matte finish. The coverage is medium to full but did not cover moles or darker patches fully. Over the course of the day the foundation did wear well but smile lines and wrinkles saw some product separation and oilier areas started to show patched where the foundation had rubbed off. With a few tweaks this could be a great foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar coverage to Vichy Dermablend. An unusual mousse/powder consistency. Covers dark spots, redness and uneven skin tone really well, but it collected in my fine lines and wrinkles. I first applied with my fingers but then found it was easier if I used a blending sponge. Skin Needs to be well prepared. It has a tendency to 'cling' to any dry patches. The finish is very matte. There was some transfer onto my collar. It lasted most of the day, with some re-touching required around my T zone. Easily removed with cream cleanser and cloth. It was too drying for my skin and l would have preferred a touch of luminosity in the finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product as I'm always looking out for products to give a matte effect that lasts! The colour matched my skin perfectly and blended easily (I use a foundation brush). Top tip - make sure you moisturise before applying as otherwise it can be a little drying. I loved how it looked on application, but was disappointed to find that by mid-afternoon my skin was no longer matte... didn't last as long as I would have liked. Nevertheless a nice product, great value for money as a little goes a long way, which I will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very torn with this foundation. It gives total coverage there is no doubt about that it covered all my dark spots and red areas really well. It also lasted all day without any retouching but and here it is on an older (40's) skin it tends to sit in any wrinkles and makes you look older. This shade was so pale I looked ill even though I have pretty pale skin. Maybe this type of foundation is not for me as I usually go for something which gives me coverage and I glow, I think this just aged me and may be better for younger skin, and be careful of the shade as it so thick you will not see any of your natural skin tone so it may make you look pale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this! I tend to go for liquid foundations as they have always seemed to spread better but this spread very well! It does dry quickly so don't wait around. I always try out foundation on my hand first to warm it up and also to test the colour. From testing Porcelain and Natural Rose, I can say that the colour which comes out on your hand is misleading which isn't helpful. So my tip would be to test it on your hand and assume it's a shade lighter when on your face. The Porcelain shade comes out just right on my hand however it is very pale when on your face. Even too pale for a light blue eyed and fair haired person like me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After recently spending money on a well known brand that promised "total coverage", and being very disappointed in their shade selection, I was very happy to try the L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover. Why can L'Oreal realise that there are those of us with very light complexions out there , but no one else can ?! I have Melasma patches on my face, and was glad to see the coverage of this foundation. I love the "look" when applied, and it doesn't set into pores or lines. I first tried the "Porcelain" and loved it. It covered well, and stayed put all day. The shade swatches were very deceiving when I first looked at them. I was afraid that all the shades would be too dark for me. Luckily, the two I was sent BOTH work. Thanks L'Oreal !!!!!
