I’ve wanted this for years and finally got my around it yesterday. It feels like a summer morning, just out of the shower. You’re headed out to a picnic with a tall tumbler of lemony iced tea, and greeting your friend with a joyful hug. Fresh, sophisticated and airy. It’s structure is like Alien, but trade the jasmine for tiare. Remove the wood and add pepper. Now add candied lemon on top. It’s well blended and grown up. (But still youthful.) It’s an EDT, so don’t expect beast mode. That wouldn’t be fair. :-) Safe blind buy, in my opinion. Easy reach. I wish I had a purse spray so I could re-up during the day. I have a problem - lol. I wore Angel in the late 90's, then the Mugler scents seemed too strong and overwhelming as I got a bit older. I have been searching for my next obsession and was disappointed, it has been some 5 years of searching. I don't know how I missed this in 2014 (probably because the bottle was always gone from the perfume counter), but my search is over. This is the next "it' for me. Perfect in every way, the Alien is all still there, just more refined and softer, with the most perfect romantic citrus note that I can imagine. The scent lingers on close to the skin in the final hours. This is one that would be a must for me in a perfume version, too beautiful. Really a masterpiece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of people say this smells like flat sprite but I don’t get that at all I think it smells beautiful I get alot of citrusy and floral notes but in a good way. I smell a couple notes similar to ALIEN but it’s honestly different enough from that I wouldn’t consider it a Flanker. I do wish it came in a perfume version but if you overspray just a little, About two sprays, it will last all day. I think extraordinaire and Wonder Bouquet Les Exceptions are equally as good. They’re both my favorite citrus purfumes. I’m glad I took the chance on this scent And my monogram bottle came out absolutely beautiful.

I fell in LOVE the moment I was given a sample of Alien. I have been a Chanel No. 5 woman all my life, until the day I became entranced with Alien eau de parfum. I find the eau de toilette to be a perfect compliment to the eau de parfum. I use the eau de parfum to start my day and freshen it with the eau de toilette. The bottles are works of art and the concept of refillable bottles is pure marketing genius, as well as environmentally responsible. I thought I would never change scents but that just proves 'never say never.' Everywhere I go women AND men ask me what that glorious fragrance is, and they are literally overwhelmingly complimentary. Please, go experience the scent in person and you will discover how true this review is!

I blind bought this because I was looking for something with the original Alien DNA but a little lighter for warm weather. This is it! Beautifully well-rounded and I'd agree with the scent description: luminous, bright and effervescent but it still has the depth that I love of original Alien. I'm wearing it right now and the tiare, orange blossom and cashmeran are poppin'. The pepper has tempered and blended with the tea. Absolutely LOVE.

If you think Alien is interesting but find it to be too strong, or you love Alien but just want something that's not so heavy for spring/summer, try this. You can tell that it's related to Alien, but it's much lighter and fresher. I took away one star because it just doesn't last at all on me. I realize it's a eau de toilette, but after one hour I can't smell it. I don't mind reapplying, but I would have expected a bit more lasting power.

This is a beautiful, feminine, pretty fragrance. However, it has zero staying power. After about 30 minutes it almost completely faded away. I even layered it over the original Alien shower gel, body lotion, and body oil. I know it is an EDT, so I'm not too surprised, but it do prefer EDP for their longevity. All in all, a delicious fragrance that I will just have to keep on hand for re-application throughout the day.

What I mean is just like the original Alien, this fragrance is totally unlike anything you have on your counter! Your peers notice this more than you just by walking around. Please don't let the fact that this luring concoction is toilette because this beautiful scent stays on my skin all day! Thanks for the wonderful cost & the fact that this is a refillable bottle is genius!
