Turns out they are an italian leather luxury goods supplier and it is clear from the packaging that this is aimed as a luxury brand. A lovely fresh, masculine fragrance that lasts all day. A good sized bottle with a well designed, classic look that also manages to look sleek and modern. The scent is not over powering once it settles on the skin, only one skoosh is needed. It is fresh and rich with a distinct spicy fragrance that i would absolutely recommend. This is a crisp, mature fragrance that you will love, equally appealing for everyday use or a special occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packinging oozes class with a textured black box and gold writing, once open the bottle doesn't disappoint either with its dark tone and large detail this comes across as a quality product. The spray on the bottle is light to use and dispenses just the right amount. The fragrance is strong on application and takes a few minutes to settle down but once it's settled down it's a long lasting full day fragrance. The smell is classy, leather and cedar tones and for myself is more suited to a going out special occasion fragrance. The scent didn't go unnoticed either as friends and colleagues alike commented on my new scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottega Venetia pour homme overall has the potential to be a top fragrance, in my opinion. To me the eau de parfum smells like a modern gentleman. I think it's sophisticated and genuinely has the aroma of leather, which I love. Initially the scent is a little over powering, but let it settle and it really is a pleasant fragrance. Upon receiving the product I was a little underwhelmed with the packaging and the bottle, I don't know if it does the fragrance justice. I also don't feel that scent has the 'durability' I look for in an aftershave, as I feel the scent fades over time. But all in all, for a modern gentleman look for a distinguished fragrance, this could well be scent for you.

At work this morning I had 3 members of my team tell me a smelt amazing, which is nice and always a good things to hear on a Monday morning. I could see that being my new daily scent. It reminded me of Victor and Rolfe spice bomb and has a very spice lol aroma. It wasn't too over powering and the bottle looks great, you can tell it's high class. The only downside is I feel that the scent doesn't last as long as a smell like spicebomb, although it is slightly lighter which could be the reason. Would recommend, strong 4 out of 5.

The packaging is simple and stylish and reflects the masculine notes in the fragrance, with it's substantial box giving an impression of quality before you even open it. The fragrance itself is very evocative with a woody base with leather and smokey tobacco notes. It smells expensive and gives an air of confidence as it is a bold fragrance. I generally categorise my fragrances into spring/summer and autumn/winter and this is very much in the latter category. Lastly, the fragrance has real staying power. I kept smelling it during the day and friends noticed it well into the evening, without being prompted.

The bottle is dark and sensual to hold, emblazoned with the Bottega Venetta logo and topped with a ferrule made from real leather. Once you unleash the fragrance you are greeeted with rich, woody and spicy top notes of cardamom, cedar and fit balsom. As the fragrance dries down I found it lasts exceptionally well on the skin and leaves you with a rich, mellow, slightly spicy, musky scent that is very wearable and got quite a bit of attention at the office. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive to try this - I normally wear fragrances that describe themselves as fresh, citrusy or light so to chose to wear something with the description "with highly concentrated woody and spicy notes of cedar leaves and rich cardamom" was quite a big step for me. However, I am very glad I did. It has a warm, comforting scent with a hint of spice that my wife liked too. Being a 'parfum' meant that the fragrance lasted longer than an EDT too. I could imagine myself on holiday on a distant shore wearing this in the evening as the sun sets, with waves lapping at the beach and enjoying a cold beer. so even if deeper more woody fragrance is not your normal thing, defnitely give it a go.

My thoughts - a quality product, with a sleek design for the professional man, with a subtle (non tacky salesman) smell which oozes sophistication. If I were to receive this as a gift for a special occasion I would be very pleased. I like designer goods that are perhaps a little less known than the major brands and this would fit right in. My wife likes the subtle tones of the smell and I am wearing it for an important client meeting today as I think it gives the right impression.
